  Locally owned new (2016) BBQ place with excellent food and side choices. Ribs and brisket were done perfectly and the smoked beans and mac and cheese are unique and delicious. Beans are a bit spicy for those who prefer a quiet taste but I loved them. Rivals the dinosaur BBQ in terms of taste which is a tall order. I recommend.

  We were disappointed.Prices very high, portions very small. Food was OK.I ordered frog legs..The were sauteed and undercooked.Everybody knows frog legs are breaded and deep fried . Appetizer offerings were mostly potatoes and fries smothered with something. Won't bother to go back.

  The dinners are amazing, all of them! From the brisket to the ribs you will NOT be disappointed! I can't say enough about the friendly service and owner. The portions are HUGE and the prices very reasonable. Don't forget to check out the weekend breakfast, we went this past weekend and were so pleased with everything. Mmmm... Sausage Gravy!!
  FYI: IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS - THEY ARE FOR THE PREVIOUS RESTAURANT. HEINTZMANS JUST TOOK OVER IN 2016.
